Bad Bet by Bill Bennett

I haven't posted anything of Bill Bennett yet, basically because blogs like Atrios have done it, and I don't know all that much about him. So I'll comment on what O'Reilly said about him.

What O'Reilly and his guest said yesterday, was that if you have to be perfect to criticise others, no one could do it. Ok, pretty obvious. But Kinsely did say this:

There are preachers who can preach an ideal they don't themselves meet and even use their own weaknesses as part of the lesson. Bennett has not been such a preacher. He is smug, disdainful, intolerant.

I wonder how O'Reilly missed that.
